Hey, hey, hey, company parties are around the corner. Some dread them, others wait all year for them. Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Rosh Hashanah”¦

Lots of things are associated with these gatherings”¦the main one for me? Food.

Here’s a couple of favorite recipes for you to share with your associates, friends and relatives”¦

BANANNA BREAD

·       1 ½ cup of sugar

·       ½ cup of soft butter

·       2 eggs

·       2 cups flour

·       1 teaspoon baking soda

·       5 tablespoons sour milk (milk with 1 tablespoon of vinegar)

·       4 very ripe bananas

·       ¼ teaspoon salt

·       MIX all ingredients and pour into greased and floured bread pan

·       Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour

PARTY POPCORN 1, 2, 3

·       1 twelve ounce bag white chocolate chips

·       2 bags lite buttered microwave popcornJerry Haack _ChocolateChipCookiePopcorn

·       3 Squares white almond bark

(1, 2, 3)

·       POP popcorn and put in large bowl

·       Melt Squares of bark, then chips, and mix and pour over popcorn and stir

Nothing like a little food to bring people together. For my refined sugar watchers”¦fresh fruit works too.
