Yet, we try to remain separate.

I see this at every TEAM BUILDING workshop I conduct.

“¦Silo’s in the workshop.

Individual’s doing their job, their duty, their “description””¦alone.

And yet, in the end, what everyone desires is fellowship, camaraderie, team work.

Do you experience this at your workplace?

If so, there is a pretty good chance you do not see or understand the vision/road map.

Can you see the direction?

Not having a clearly defined vision is one of the common denominators in a disruptive TEAM.

It causes ambiguity.

Ambiguity gives Fear permission to drive the bus.

Having a clear vision helps us to participate in the game.

Fear is still present, but at least we know what to do, and how to do it.

It also gives the other members of the TEAM permission to ask more questions, “weigh in” on their part.

Knocking down the silo is the first big step in developing the TEAM, or “whole”.

Albert Einstein once said,

A human being is a part of a whole, a part limited in time and space.

He experiences himself as something separated from the rest, this delusion is a kind of prison for  us.

Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.”

Get yourself out of prison!

Lean into your TEAM MATES and don’t go alone.
